Paeonia ‘Dr. Alexander Fleming’
The ‘Dr. Alexander Fleming‘ is a very popular peony in Europe and North America, particularly noted for its sweet fragrance. This peony has large, bright pink flowers that fade to a lighter pink towards the edges, it makes an outstanding cut flower.
A herbaceous perennial with stunning large fragrant, fully double, bowl shaped white flowers surrounded by dark green, divided foliage. A classic peony from the mid nineteenth century is a favourite of the cut-flower trade.

This vigorous heirloom variety from France was introduced in 1888! Produces large, double bomb-type flowers measuring 8" across and smelling like roses. Light rose-pink with silver-hued centre petals. Light green foliage. Tall stems may need staking.
